Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of technical support specialists during weekend shifts to ensure seamless operations.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues affecting production environments with minimal downtime.
- Implement and maintain robust incident response protocols and escalation paths.
- Conduct thorough post-mortem analyses for critical system failures to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the on-site engineering team to align weekend maintenance schedules with business goals.
- Oversee hardware and software inventory management and vendor relations for weekend repairs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical support, systems administration, or network engineering.
- Strong leadership experience, preferably in a supervisory or lead capacity.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with a focus on Linux/Windows environments.
- Ability to work rotating weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday) with a high degree of autonomy.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, AWS, or CCNA) are a strong plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
