Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure (AWS/Azure) to ensure high availability and scalability.
- Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain scripts (Python/Bash) to automate routine tasks, improve deployment pipelines, and reduce manual intervention.
- Monitoring & Maintenance: Implement and manage monitoring solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) to proactively identify and resolve system issues.
- Security Compliance: Enforce security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps and Development teams to bridge the gap between operations and software engineering.
- Disaster Recovery: Develop and test robust backup and disaster recovery plans to safeguard business continuity.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or a similar technical role.
- Cloud Proficiency: Deep experience with AWS or Azure (EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda).
- Containerization: Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Scripting: Proficiency in Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
