Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Architect and develop scalable, high-performance software solutions using modern technologies and best practices.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while conducting thorough code reviews to ensure high standards.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot complex technical issues, debug systems, and implement effective long-term solutions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define feature requirements and deliver exceptional user experiences.
- Optimization: Optimize applications for speed and scalability, ensuring zero downtime and lightning-fast response times.
- Mentorship: Guide junior developers and provide technical leadership to foster a collaborative engineering culture.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience is a plus.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or Java; experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Database: Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Flexibility: Ability to work in a hybrid model, with availability to support clients in Virginia Beach, VA, and Pennsylvania.
