Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers on best practices
- Optimize database performance and troubleshoot complex system issues
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker
- Contribute to architecture decisions for high-transaction financial systems
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Java development with Spring framework
- Expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Proven track record of delivering production-ready applications
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
