Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Python and AWS
- Lead architectural decisions and technical roadmap for cloud-native applications
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and best practices implementation
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and optimize system scalability and reliability
- Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and performance tuning of applications
- Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute to technical innovation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in Python, Django/Flask, and microservices architecture
- Strong proficiency with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS)
- Proven experience with RESTful API design and implementation
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile environments
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
