Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits to identify and resolve crawl errors, site speed issues, and indexing problems.
- Develop and execute high-level keyword strategies to improve organic search rankings for targeted high-value terms.
- Optimize on-page elements, including title tags, meta descriptions, headers, and internal linking structures.
- Analyze website traffic data using Google Analytics and Search Console to measure performance and inform strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with content creators and web developers to ensure technical SEO best practices are integrated into new features and pages.
- Manage and oversee backlink profiles to ensure high-quality, relevant link-building campaigns.
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of proven experience in SEO, preferably within a fast-paced agency or high-growth startup environment.
- Deep understanding of Google's core web vitals, mobile-first indexing, and algorithm updates (e.g., Panda, Penguin, Hummingbird).
- Proficiency in technical SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs.
- Experience with basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable business insights.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
