Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable quantum computing hardware architectures with a primary focus on error correction and coherence times.
- Lead the integration of cryogenic control systems with high-level quantum programming interfaces.
- Optimize qubit gate fidelities and develop novel error mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with software teams to bridge the gap between quantum hardware and classical algorithmic applications.
- Define technical roadmaps for quantum infrastructure and mentor junior engineers and researchers.
- Contribute to open-source quantum projects and publish research findings in top-tier journals.
Qualifications
- PhD or Masterβs degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with a focus on quantum technologies.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantum hardware development, superconducting circuits, or nanofabrication.
- Deep proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and quantum frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or similar).
- Strong understanding of quantum algorithms (QFT, QAOA, VQE) and quantum error correction codes (Surface codes, LDPC).
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and delivering complex technical projects on time.
