Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures supporting 1000+ logical qubits
- Develop quantum error correction protocols and fault-tolerant system designs
- Create hybrid quantum-classical computing workflows for enterprise applications
- Lead quantum hardware-software co-design optimization initiatives
- Architect secure quantum communication networks with quantum key distribution
- Drive quantum algorithm development for optimization and simulation problems
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum systems integration and testing
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in superconducting qubit architectures and cryogenic systems
- Deep knowledge of quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, Cirq)
- Experience with quantum circuit optimization and compilation techniques
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields preferred
