Responsibilities
- Circuit Optimization: Design and implement advanced quantum circuit layers tailored for neural network inference using variational quantum eigensolvers (VQE).
- Algorithm Development: Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms that outperform classical baselines in specific optimization and sampling domains.
- Model Integration: Integrate quantum modules into existing deep learning frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow) to create seamless hybrid models.
- Simulation & Validation: Lead rigorous testing of quantum hardware and software stacks, validating results against classical benchmarks.
- Research Publication: Contribute to peer-reviewed papers and technical blogs to establish Nexus 2026 as a thought leader in the field.
- Team Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Computing or Machine Learning.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in software engineering or applied research, with specific expertise in quantum computing frameworks (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane).
- Programming: Proficiency in Python, C++, and CUDA for high-performance computing.
- Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and optimization algorithms.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving complex problems in high-latency, high-computational environments.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
