Responsibilities
- Architect Immersive Worlds: Design and build complex 3D environments, virtual economies, and interactive experiences using Unreal Engine 5 and Unity.
- Technical Leadership: Guide a team of engineers and 3D artists, providing code reviews, architectural guidance, and technical mentorship.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize rendering pipelines and network latency to ensure seamless 60FPS experiences across all devices.
- Integration & API: Implement secure Web3 integrations (blockchain, NFTs) and API endpoints for decentralized applications within the metaverse.
- R&D: Stay ahead of industry trends, experimenting with new tools like volumetric capture and real-time ray tracing.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with UX/UI designers and product managers to translate requirements into technical blueprints.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in game development, 3D graphics programming, or architectural visualization.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in C++, C#, Python, and shaders (HLSL/GLSL). Deep knowledge of Unreal Engine 5 and its subsystems.
- Graphics Knowledge: Strong understanding of computer graphics, math for game development (linear algebra), and optimization techniques.
- Web3 Experience: Familiarity with blockchain concepts, smart contracts (Solidity), and decentralized protocols is highly preferred.
- Tools: Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and 3D modeling software (Blender/Maya).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
