Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Develop strategic roadmaps aligning technological innovation with business objectives for 2026+
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to synthesize insights from diverse domains
- Present compelling futures scenarios to executive leadership and external stakeholders
- Drive innovation initiatives in sustainability, digital transformation, and human-machine collaboration
- Maintain competitive intelligence through global research networks and industry conferences
- Mentor junior futurists and build a robust foresight framework within the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, technology consulting, or futurist role
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial innovations
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., AGI, neuromorphic computing)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, Futures Studies, or related field
- Certification in Foresight Methodology (e.g., from Futures School) preferred
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight frameworks
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology strategy implementations
