- Develop and publish annual 2026 Technology Horizon Reports identifying disruptive innovations across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable energy
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive leadership, modeling potential futures and strategic pivots
- Establish innovation incubation programs focused on 2026-ready technologies with $5M+ annual budgets
- Represent the company at global futurist forums (e.g., World Future Society, Davos) and publish thought leadership
- Mentor a team of 3-5 futurist analysts while building proprietary trend-forecasting AI models
- Partner with product teams to integrate foresight into 18-36 month development roadmaps
- Drive strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, R&D leadership, or futurist research with Fortune 500 experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent technical field (PhD preferred)
- Published author in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications on emerging technologies
- Expertise in scenario planning methodologies and trend-forecasting frameworks (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial products or policy changes
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, D3.js) and AI trend analysis platforms
