Responsibilities
- Analyze global mega-trends (AI governance, quantum computing, climate tech) to forecast 2026 industry disruptions
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for C-suite decision-making
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Author strategic whitepapers and thought leadership for industry conferences
- Build and manage a network of futurist researchers and domain experts
- Advise product teams on long-term technology adoption curves
- Quantify market opportunities for emerging exponential technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into commercial strategies
- Expertise in at least two exponential tech domains (AI, biotech, quantum, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership in reputable industry journals
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis tools
- Exceptional communication skills for executive stakeholder engagement
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-oriented initiatives
