Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and societal shifts to forecast 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop and implement strategic foresight frameworks for product development and market positioning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to cultivate future-oriented thinking across departments
- Produce high-impact trend reports and scenario-planning documents for executive decision-making
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype solutions for anticipated future challenges
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to capture emerging insights
- Mentor junior strategists and build organization-wide foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused business strategies
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts into actionable plans
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-oriented projects and publications
