Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic foresight methodologies to forecast market trends, technological disruptions, and societal shifts through 2026
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for C-suite clients to navigate uncertainty and capitalize on emerging opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into actionable business strategies and innovation roadmaps
- Analyze complex data sets from diverse sources (economic indicators, patent filings, social sentiment) to identify inflection points
- Produce executive-grade reports and presentations that distill complex future scenarios into clear strategic recommendations
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of continuous learning within the foresight practice
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Business Analytics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, consulting, or innovation roles with demonstrated experience in trend analysis
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and futures research methodologies
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and statistical analysis software (R, Python)
- Exceptional communication skills with proven ability to present complex concepts to executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futures, technology, or strategy (articles, whitepapers, books)
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, biotech, and climate tech
