Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, geopolitical shifts, and demographic trends to identify disruptive forces through 2026+
- Develop scenario models and strategic roadmaps for product innovation and market positioning
- Partner with R&D teams to integrate foresight insights into product development lifecycles
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives using AI-powered trend analysis and predictive modeling
- Present strategic narratives to executive stakeholders using data visualization and compelling storytelling
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry thought leaders
- Author white papers and thought leadership content on future-focused topics
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Economics, or related field; PhD preferred
- Minimum 8 years in strategic planning, trend analysis, or innovation consulting
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and systems thinking
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing, etc.)
- Exceptional data synthesis and storytelling abilities with executive presentation experience
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from the Association of Professional Futurists)
- Published thought leadership on future trends or strategic foresight methodologies
- Experience in high-growth tech or Fortune 500 environments
