Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology roadmaps using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional initiatives integrating AI, blockchain, and biotech into scalable business models
- Produce strategic foresight reports and innovation frameworks for executive decision-making
- Build and manage an ecosystem of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Translate emerging technologies into patentable IP and commercialization strategies
- Present findings to stakeholders through compelling visualizations and storytelling
- Mentor junior futurists in predictive analytics and innovation methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record commercializing emerging technologies (AI/quantum/biotech)
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend forecasting
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Innovation Management preferred
- Published thought leadership in technology foresight or innovation strategy
