Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning research to identify emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal trends impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks (e.g., STEEP analysis, trend impact wheels) for executive decision-making
- Facilitate cross-functional innovation workshops to generate and validate future-focused product concepts
- Translate foresight insights into actionable strategic recommendations for R&D, product development, and market expansion
- Build and manage a network of external futurists, academic researchers, and industry thought leaders
- Present future scenarios to stakeholders through compelling narratives and data visualizations
- Drive implementation of innovation roadmaps through collaboration with engineering, marketing, and operations teams
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Business Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing and executing future-focused business strategies with measurable impact
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology roadmapping methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to distill complex future concepts into executable strategies
- Proficiency with foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, cross-impact matrices) and data visualization platforms
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguous innovation initiatives
