Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual 'Future Horizons' reports with 5-year predictive models
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for C-suite executives on emerging tech trends
- Identify and evaluate disruptive technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) for strategic investment
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype 2026-viable products and services
- Establish KPIs for innovation maturity across global operations
- Present strategic recommendations to board of directors quarterly
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight ecosystem
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or technology forecasting
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial impact
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Expertise in trend analysis frameworks (e.g., STEEP, Delphi method)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills for complex futures narratives
- Certification in Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategy publications
