Responsibilities
- Develop and implement horizon-scanning frameworks to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Author strategic whitepapers and trend reports that inform executive decision-making and product roadmaps
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs to pioneer next-gen capabilities
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal innovation culture through workshops and thought leadership
- Present strategic insights to stakeholders through compelling narratives and data visualizations
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, technology roadmapping, and ecosystem analysis
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation domains
