Responsibilities
- Analyze global mega-trends and technological disruptions to forecast industry transformations by 2026
- Develop and implement strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops to generate breakthrough concepts for future markets
- Author thought leadership reports on AI, biotech, and sustainable technologies shaping 2026
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Present strategic recommendations to the board and executive leadership
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in futurist, innovation strategy, or R&D leadership roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technological forecasting
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Experience developing patentable innovations or market-disrupting strategies
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-proofed initiatives implemented
