Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing domains
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients navigating 2026 market disruptions
- Design immersive future simulations and scenario-planning frameworks for C-suite executives
- Author thought leadership publications cited by MIT Sloan, World Economic Forum, and Nature
- Manage cross-functional innovation labs with $2M+ annual R&D budgets
- Present at Davos, TED, and UN Global Innovation Summits
- Mentor next-generation futurists through Horizon's Future Leaders Program
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or Strategic Innovation (or 8+ years equivalent experience)
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work for 2020-2030 scenarios
- Expertise in S-curve analysis, Delphi methodology, and weak signal detection
- Proven track record advising C-suite on disruptive technology adoption
- Fluency in at least two of: Python, R, MATLAB, or Causal Impact modeling
- Experience with foresight tools like Cassandra, Gartner Hype Cycles, or SAMI
- Published author in peer-reviewed futures or innovation journals
- Security clearance for sensitive government innovation projects
