Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate tech) and translate foresight into actionable innovation roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional workshops to co-create future scenarios with Fortune 500 clients
- Develop proprietary foresight frameworks using quantitative data and qualitative ethnography
- Author high-impact thought leadership published in MIT Technology Review and similar outlets
- Manage a $5M innovation portfolio with measurable ROI on pilot projects
- Mentor a team of 3 futurists and researchers while fostering a culture of intellectual curiosity
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercialized solutions
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend impact analysis
- Published author or keynote speaker at Davos, SXSW, or equivalent forums
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successfully implemented innovation strategies
