Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts through 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps for integrating emerging innovations (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Partner with C-suite executives to align futuristic initiatives with business objectives
- Build and manage an ecosystem of innovation partners across academia, startups, and Fortune 500s
- Champion R&D projects focused on solving 2026's grand challenges (sustainability, healthcare, autonomy)
- Present visionary insights to stakeholders through compelling data-driven narratives
- Establish KPI frameworks to measure innovation ROI and market readiness
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, R&D, or corporate innovation with tech focus
- Proven track record of forecasting and commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology adoption curves
- Deep knowledge of 2026-relevant domains: generative AI, climate tech, or neurotech
- Experience scaling innovation programs within large organizations
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFS, CSS) preferred
