Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts impacting 2026
- Develop and publish strategic foresight reports, scenario plans, and innovation roadmaps for executive stakeholders
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into product development and business strategy
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of industry experts, academic partners, and innovation networks
- Translate foresight insights into actionable R&D priorities and investment opportunities
- Present future scenarios to C-suite executives and board members to drive strategic decision-making
- Oversee the implementation of innovation labs and prototyping initiatives for emerging concepts
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, Technology Management, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused business strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies, scenario planning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures concepts to diverse audiences
- Strong network within emerging technology ecosystems (AI, biotech, quantum computing, etc.)
- Proficiency in data visualization tools and futures research methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to influence executive decision-making through compelling narratives
