Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning and scenario modeling
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future trends into actionable product roadmaps
- Author quarterly trend briefings for executive stakeholders and investor relations
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and other future-focused institutions
- Design and implement innovation incubators for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech)
- Mentor junior futurists and build a future intelligence division within R&D
- Represent company at global futurist forums and publish industry thought leadership
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record translating future trends into commercialized solutions
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Published author or keynote speaker at futurist conferences (e.g., WEF, Foresight.org)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Experience building and leading high-impact innovation teams
- Portfolio demonstrating future-intellectual property development
