As a key member of our Innovation Leadership Council, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives to identify disruptive opportunities, mitigate future risks, and position Nexus Horizons as a market pioneer. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize emerging trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, climate tech) into actionable business opportunities
- Produce high-impact strategic reports and executive presentations translating complex future scenarios into organizational priorities
- Partner with product and engineering teams to integrate future insights into R&D roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Establish and nurture relationships with academic institutions, think tanks, and industry futurist networks
- Mentor junior futurists and build the organization's foresight capabilities through knowledge sharing
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused strategies that generated measurable business impact
- Deep expertise in horizon scanning methodologies and scenario planning frameworks
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data from diverse sources (technological, social, economic)
- Outstanding executive communication and presentation skills with ability to influence C-suite decision-makers
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or successful strategic initiatives
