Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Produce high-impact reports and presentations on emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptors
- Partner with product, engineering, and leadership teams to integrate foresight into product roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Build and lead a network of futurist collaborators across industry sectors and academic institutions
- Design and facilitate strategic workshops to align stakeholders on long-term vision and risk mitigation
- Represent the company at global foresight forums and publish thought leadership on 2026-relevant topics
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of strategic foresight across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-oriented technology roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing long-term strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in trend analysis methodologies including Delphi studies, cross-impact matrices, and weak signal detection
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to translate complex foresight into executive-level narratives
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research capabilities with data-driven decision-making mindset
- Experience with scenario planning tools and foresight software (e.g., Foresight Platform, SAMI)
