Responsibilities
- Lead 2026 strategic foresight initiatives through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for disruptive technology adoption
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions aligned with future market needs
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish an internal futurist program to embed foresight across departments
- Author thought leadership publications on emerging tech and societal impact
- Manage a $2M innovation budget for 2026 pilot projects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, consulting, or futures research with tech focus
- Proven track record in scenario planning and trend forecasting
- Expertise in AI ethics, biotech, or climate tech domains
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Business Strategy, or related field
- Published author in industry journals or major media outlets
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in matrix organizations
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or equivalent preferred
