Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 global innovation strategy using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Produce visionary whitepapers and thought leadership positioning Horizon as a 2026 industry pioneer
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs focused on next-gen technologies
- Advise executive leadership on emerging risks and opportunities in the 2026 technology landscape
- Mentor junior futurists and build the organization's future-focused capabilities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, trend forecasting, or corporate futurism role
- Proven track record developing multi-year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies and scenario planning frameworks
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, Web3, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling and communication skills for executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategy publications
