Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight research and scenario planning for 2026 technology adoption curves
- Architect innovation roadmaps integrating quantum computing, neural interfaces, and climate tech
- Develop patent-pending frameworks for ethical AI governance and human-machine symbiosis
- Facilitate executive workshops with Fortune 500 partners on future-proofing business models
- Author white papers cited by WEF and UN Technology Futures Council
- Mentor cross-functional teams in exponential thinking and rapid prototyping
- Secure $5M+ in R&D grants through DARPA/NASA partnerships
Qualifications
- 15+ years in futurism, R&D leadership, or emerging technology strategy
- Published work in Nature Futures or MIT Technology Review (2019-2023)
- PhD in Systems Theory, Cognitive Science, or equivalent demonstrable expertise
- Track record of launching ventures with >$100M valuation
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Horizon Scanning, Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Deep expertise in at least two exponential tech domains (quantum, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Security clearance (or ability to obtain) for classified innovation projects
- Fluency in Mandarin or Arabic for global stakeholder engagement
