Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential by 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating quantum computing, synthetic biology, and neurotech convergence
- Design ethical frameworks for AI autonomy and human augmentation systems
- Facilitate executive workshops on future scenario planning and risk mitigation
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-generation human-computer interfaces
- Author quarterly trend reports for C-suite stakeholders and industry partners
- Secure $5M+ in R&D funding through visionary grant proposals and investor presentations
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic foresight, R&D leadership, or emerging technology innovation
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or Computational Neuroscience
- Published research in Nature/Science on technology forecasting or complex systems
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic concepts (3+ successful launches)
- Expertise in scenario planning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, causal layered analysis)
- Deep knowledge of quantum computing, bio-hybrid systems, and AGI development
- Experience advising boards of directors on technological disruption strategies
- Fluency in Mandarin or Arabic for global stakeholder engagement
