Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and societal trends impacting 2026 business landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for long-term strategic decision-making
- Partner with R&D teams to incubate breakthrough innovations with 5+ year commercialization horizons
- Deliver executive-level trend briefings and future-state assessments
- Design and implement foresight methodologies across global operations
- Build cross-functional coalitions to drive adoption of future-ready strategies
- Represent FutureHorizon at industry foresight forums and thought leadership platforms
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic innovation or futurist roles at Fortune 500 or high-growth tech companies
- Proven track record of translating foresight into market-leading products/services
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systemic modeling methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to communicate complex future concepts
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFSD, APF) strongly preferred
