Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive 2026 innovation strategy using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional teams to translate future insights into actionable R&D initiatives and product roadmaps
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government agencies, and industry disruptors
- Present future-focused insights to executive stakeholders and external audiences through compelling narratives
- Design and maintain proprietary forecasting methodologies for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Oversee development of '2026 Vision' thought leadership content and industry reports
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal future intelligence network
Qualifications
- 10+ years in futurism, strategy consulting, or technology innovation leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into successful commercial outcomes
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and strategic foresight methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, Web3) and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to C-suite and external audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, Business Strategy, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (whitepapers, books, TED talks)
- Experience building and leading global innovation teams in tech-forward organizations
