Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Apache Airflow and Spark
- Optimize data warehouse schemas for performance and scalability on AWS Redshift
- Develop real-time data streaming solutions with Kafka and Kinesis
- Create data quality frameworks and automated monitoring systems
- Collaborate with ML teams to build feature engineering pipelines
- Mentor junior engineers and champion data governance best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Expertise in SQL, Python, and at least one modern data orchestration tool
- Proven track record building production-grade data pipelines at scale
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD for data pipelines
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to data accuracy and security
