Responsibilities
- Design and deploy scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar DevOps tools
- Optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency and performance monitoring
- Lead disaster recovery planning and security compliance initiatives
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct infrastructure code reviews
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud solutions with applications
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Python/Ansible
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of cloud infrastructure engineering experience with AWS/Azure
- Expertise in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Demonstrated ability to optimize cloud costs and improve system performance
- Excellent problem-solving skills and communication abilities
