Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Infrastructure-as-Code principles
- Optimize cloud costs through architectural reviews, right-sizing, and reserved instance management
- Lead CI/CD pipeline automation using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline
- Implement robust security frameworks including IAM policies, VPC design, and compliance monitoring
- Provide 24/7 production support with on-call rotation and incident response leadership
- Mentor junior engineers and drive best practices in cloud architecture
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate cloud solutions with enterprise systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years of AWS infrastructure experience with 2+ years in senior/lead roles
- Expertise in at least 3 core AWS services: EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, or DynamoDB
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and infrastructure automation
- Hands-on experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS) and serverless architectures
- CI/CD pipeline implementation using modern DevOps tools
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or DevOps Engineer required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems
