Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS/GCP/Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Lead container orchestration initiatives using Kubernetes and Docker
- Optimize cloud costs through architecture reviews and resource allocation strategies
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
- Implement robust security frameworks (IAM, VPC, encryption protocols)
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer code reviews
- Collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams to enhance system reliability
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering with AWS/GCP/Azure
- Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform preferred)
- Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Java
- Kubernetes certification (CKA/CKAD) or equivalent practical experience
- Proven track record of optimizing cloud costs and performance
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation and monitoring
