Job Description
Welcome to the future of technology. Apex Horizon Labs is a cutting-edge research organization defining the roadmap for Artificial Intelligence in the year 2026 and beyond. We are looking for a visionary Senior AI Architect to lead our next-generation autonomous agent systems.
In this pivotal role, you won't just be maintaining existing systems; you will be architecting the foundational intelligence layer for a post-silicon computing era. You will bridge the gap between theoretical machine learning breakthroughs and scalable, real-world deployment. If you are obsessed with the trajectory of AI and want to build the tools that will define the next decade, this is your stage.
Responsibilities
- Architect Future-Proof Systems: Design and implement scalable infrastructure for Agentic AI workflows, focusing on autonomy, memory, and decision-making capabilities.
- Model Engineering: Optimize Large Language Models (LLMs) for edge deployment and massive inference scaling, targeting sub-millisecond latency.
- R&D Leadership: Spearhead research into multimodal reasoning and reinforcement learning to enhance model safety and alignment.
- Technical Strategy: Define the technical roadmap for AI adoption, evaluating emerging frameworks and hardware accelerators.
- Code & Infrastructure: Write production-grade Python code, manage Kubernetes clusters, and ensure robust CI/CD pipelines for AI models.
Qualifications
- Experience: 7+ years of software engineering with 3+ years focused on AI/ML or Deep Learning architectures.
- Education: MS or PhD in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Technical Expertise: Deep proficiency in PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX, with hands-on experience fine-tuning state-of-the-art models (LLaMA, GPT, Mistral).
- System Design: Strong background in distributed systems, cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP), and MLOps practices.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to translate complex AI concepts into strategic business value.
