Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and implement scalable AI infrastructure, focusing on large language models (LLMs) and reinforcement learning agents.
- Model Optimization: Lead efforts in model quantization, pruning, and inference optimization to reduce latency and cost for real-time applications.
- Research Translation: Translate cutting-edge academic research into robust, production-ready software solutions.
- Ethical AI Governance: Establish and enforce frameworks for bias mitigation, safety, and transparency in AI decision-making processes.
- Team Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- System Integration: Integrate AI models with edge devices and IoT ecosystems, ensuring seamless interoperability.
Qualifications
- Education: MS or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and distributed computing systems.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, with a focus on NLP, Computer Vision, or Autonomous Systems.
- System Design: Proven track record of designing high-availability, fault-tolerant systems at scale.
- Tools: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Communication: Excellent ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
