We are seeking a visionary Senior 2D Interactive Developer to join our elite engineering team in San Francisco. At Apex Innovations, we don't just build websites; we craft immersive digital experiences that blend high-performance engineering with artistic precision.
In this role, you will be the architect behind our next-generation 2D visualization tools and interactive web platforms. You will work closely with UX designers and product managers to translate complex data and creative concepts into pixel-perfect, scalable web applications.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement high-performance 2D rendering engines using HTML5 Canvas and SVG.
- Optimize rendering pipelines to achieve 60fps interactions across a wide range of devices and browsers.
- Collaborate with the UX team to design and build custom interactive widgets and data visualizations.
- Maintain and evolve existing 2D web components, ensuring code quality and scalability.
- Investigate and resolve complex performance bottlenecks in client-side rendering.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in 2D web development and interaction design.
- Deep proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Expertise in Canvas API, SVG manipulation, and 2D physics libraries.
- Strong understanding of browser rendering engines, DOM manipulation, and event handling.
- Experience with WebGL or WebGL-based libraries (Three.js, Pixi.js) is a plus.
