Responsibilities
- Lead 2D Rendering Engine Development: Architect and implement high-performance 2D graphics rendering pipelines using Canvas API, SVG, and WebGL for interactive web applications.
- Animation Optimization: Develop complex, smooth animations and transitions, ensuring 60fps performance across various devices and browsers.
- Cross-Browser Compatibility: Write robust, scalable code that maintains visual fidelity and functionality across Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge.
- Collaborate with Design Teams: Translate high-fidelity design mockups into precise, code-based visual implementations, providing technical guidance during the creative process.
- Performance Tuning: Profile and optimize rendering performance to ensure lightweight asset loading and efficient memory usage.
- Mentorship: Guide junior developers and interns, fostering a culture of technical excellence and creative problem-solving within the team.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Fine Arts, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Graphics Experience: Deep expertise in 2D graphics libraries (e.g., Pixi.js, Phaser, Fabric.js) or native Canvas/WebGL.
- Animation: Proven experience with CSS animations, SVG manipulation, and requestAnimationFrame for high-performance motion.
- Problem Solving: Ability to debug complex rendering issues and optimize code for speed and efficiency.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
