What You'll Do:
In this role, you will be responsible for the creation of high-quality 2D animations that align with our creative vision. You will collaborate closely with directors and artists to ensure every frame tells a compelling story.
Responsibilities
- Design and animate high-quality 2D characters and backgrounds using industry-standard software.
- Collaborate with the art director and story team to interpret scripts and storyboards into motion.
- Optimize animation assets for various delivery platforms, ensuring smooth playback and visual fidelity.
- Provide mentorship and feedback to junior animators, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and creative reviews to refine animation concepts.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest 2D animation trends, techniques, and software updates.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in 2D animation.
- Proficiency in Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, or After Effects.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physics, and timing in animation.
- Portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of animation styles and techniques.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to take constructive feedback.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced studio environment.
- Experience with rigging and character setup is a plus.
