Responsibilities
- Provide critical care assessment and treatment for emergency patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Administer medications and perform diagnostic procedures
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and preventive care
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and trauma cases
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental projects
Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas (or compact state license)
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
