Responsibilities
- Provide critical patient care in high-pressure emergency situations
- Assess patient conditions and implement treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal outcomes
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs
- Document patient records accurately and timely
- Educate patients and families on treatment protocols
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active CA RN license required
- BSN preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years ED experience considered)
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications
- Minimum 1-3 years emergency nursing experience
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- EMR proficiency (Epic experience preferred)
