Responsibilities
- Architect and design scalable quantum circuit models for superconducting and trapped-ion qubits.
- Develop and implement advanced error mitigation and error correction protocols.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware engineers to optimize qubit layouts for maximum coherence times.
- Lead the integration of quantum algorithms into cloud-based quantum computing platforms.
- Conduct research into post-quantum cryptography and secure communication protocols.
- Document architectural decisions and provide technical mentorship to junior engineers.
Qualifications
- Masterβs or PhD degree in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantum computing, quantum simulation, or superconducting hardware.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and Qiskit or Cirq.
- Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and quantum mechanics fundamentals.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and quantum service providers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of innovative research.
