Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum annealing systems with 99.9% qubit coherence
- Develop cryogenic control systems operating at 20mK temperatures
- Optimize quantum error correction protocols for real-world applications
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing architectures
- Conduct stress testing on quantum hardware under extreme environmental conditions
- Document quantum system blueprints using QASM and Quipper standards
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum circuit optimization techniques
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years experience with superconducting qubit manipulation
- Expertise in quantum error correction algorithms (surface codes, LDPC)
- Proficiency in Python/C++ for quantum simulation frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation strategies
- Certification in IBM Quantum Experience or Rigetti Forest
