Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms with 99.9% fidelity targets
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing error-corrected quantum processors
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and industry white papers
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants through compelling proposals
- Mentor PhD candidates and postdocs in quantum information science
- Develop patentable quantum encryption protocols for next-gen security
- Collaborate with AI teams to create quantum-neural hybrid systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years hands-on experience with quantum circuit design and error correction
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent peer-reviewed journals
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum simulation tools
- Demonstrated success in securing federal or corporate research grants
