Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptographic security and machine learning optimization
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in prototyping quantum hardware-software interfaces
- Publish high-impact research in IEEE Nature and peer-reviewed journals
- Secure $5M+ in government and private sector research grants
- Develop ethical frameworks for quantum AI deployment in critical infrastructure
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Partner with NASA and DARPA on classified quantum communication projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing journals (Science/Physical Review X)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Security clearance eligibility for government-contracted research
- Track record of commercializing quantum technologies
