Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Conduct experimental research on quantum error correction protocols
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor performance
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and lead cross-functional innovation sprints
- Develop quantum-resistant security frameworks for enterprise clients
- Analyze quantum simulation data using advanced statistical methods
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency in Q#, Qiskit, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Published work in quantum information theory or quantum algorithms
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and noise mitigation
- Experience with machine learning for quantum system optimization
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
- Ability to secure DOE/NIST quantum research grants preferred
